Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Ever since I read the ingredients list on a McDonald’s curry sauce, the idea of making a curry sauce with applesauce has been intriguing me. Then I recently had some leftover applesauce, so I decided to give it a try. Finely chop the onion and sauté until translucent, then deglaze with cream. Stir in the applesauce and heat through. Stir in the mustard, vegetable stock, salt, and pepper, then a generous amount of curry powder. Bring to a boil and immediately remove from the heat. It goes well with rice. I haven’t tried it with roasted meat yet.
