Apple waffles

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 175 g butter
  • 175 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 4 small eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 bottle of rum flavoring
  • 200 g flour
  • 50 g cornstarch
  • ½ tsp, leveled baking powder
  • possibly milk
  • 4 apples

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs, baking powder, and salt and mix. Combine the flour, cornstarch, and baking powder and stir into the batter a spoonful at a time. Finally, grate in the peeled and cored apples and mix well. Bake the waffles in the waffle iron until golden brown. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
