Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 kg sugar
  • 15 magnolia blossoms
  • 30 g citric acid

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 30 minutes

Boil the water and sugar. Remove the pistils from the flowers, then add the flowers to the sugar water, bring back to a boil, and then let it steep for several hours. Strain everything through a sieve, bring back to a boil with 30 g of citric acid, and bottle. The syrup adds a fruity flavor to mineral water, sparkling wine, desserts, and fruit salads. Simply delicious!
