Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter, soft
  • 125 g sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 250 g flour
  • n. B. Food coloring, green
  • some almonds, whole, peeled

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Cream soft butter with sugar, vanilla sugar, and egg yolk until fluffy. Gradually sift in the flour. Knead thoroughly and color it green with food coloring. Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for 20 minutes. Then shape it into small sausages, however large you like. Score the knuckles with a knife. Place an almond on each fingernail and press firmly. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat) and bake the fingers for 10-20 minutes, depending on the desired browning and size.
