Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g lentils
- 400 ml vegetable stock
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 can corn kernels
- 1 cup sour cream
- Balsamic vinegar
- salt and pepper
- savory
- coriander
- cumin

Dice the onion and fry briefly in hot fat. Add the lentils and fry briefly. Then pour in the vegetable stock. Cook the lentils in the stock. Add more water or stock if needed. When the lentils are cooked, there should be very little water left. Add the corn, then stir in the sour cream. Season with balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. You can also add a touch of savory. Or, for something a little more exotic, add coriander and cumin. The sauce goes well with any kind of pasta or salad – a great vegetarian dish!
