Quick grilled sausage salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g sausage (e.g. Vienna sausages, wool sausages, beef sausages, bratwurst)
  • 6 m.-large gherkins
  • 10 tbsp cucumber water
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp, heaped sugar, brown
  • 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 6 minutes; Total time approx. 21 minutes

Slice the gherkins. Slice the onion into half rings. Place the sausages on the grill and grill until they are nicely browned (takes about three minutes per side). When they are the desired brownness, remove from the grill, let cool slightly, and slice thinly. Combine the gherkin juice, salt, pepper, sugar, vinegar, and olive oil in a large bowl and mix. Add the sausages, gherkins, and onion to the bowl and mix everything well. Enjoy! Have fun trying this recipe.
