Tipsy Gnocchi

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g gnocchi
  • 2 tbsp vegetable cream (e.g. Rama Culinesse with butter flavor)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 shot of white wine
  • 150 ml cooking cream
  • some basil leaves
  • 1 tbsp Parmesan, freshly grated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the gnocchi in salted water and drain. Melt the vegetable cream in a pan and increase the heat to high. Fry the gnocchi, turn, and cook on the other side until golden brown on both sides. Reduce the heat. Finely chop the onion. If possible, press the garlic with a garlic press or finely chop if you don’t have one. Add to the gnocchi and mix. Then deglaze with a splash of white wine. Pour in the cooking cream and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes. Finely chop the basil and stir in. Serve the gnocchi with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
