Fried tuna fillets with garlic and potato mash

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 large tuna fillets or 4 small
  • 16 prawns, cleaned and ready to cook
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • some lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 400 g potatoes
  • 150 ml milk, approx.
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 1 tsp dill, finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 12 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 22 minutes

For the mash, peel the potatoes and cook in salted water in a pressure cooker for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, pat the tuna fillets dry and fry in a pan with fat for 5 minutes on both sides. Cooking time may vary depending on the package instructions. Season with salt and pepper. Peel and mince the garlic and bring to a boil with the milk in the microwave or in a saucepan. Steam the potatoes and drain. Mash the potatoes and mash them with the garlic milk, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and dill. Finally, fry the shrimp in the pan for 1 minute. To serve, place one portion each of the mash, tuna, and shrimp on the plates. Drizzle lime juice over the steaks and shrimp. Serve with a leaf salad or arugula salad.
