Gnocchi in creamy smoked salmon sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g gnocchi, fresh, from the refrigerated section
  • 150 g smoked salmon, sliced
  • 1 bunch of dill
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 125 g double cream cheese with herbs
  • 125 g whipped cream
  • 1 tsp vegetable broth
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cook the gnocchi in boiling salted water according to the package instructions, pour into a colander, and drain well. Cut the salmon into strips. Wash and dry the dill, then pick and chop the dill sprigs. Peel and finely dice the onion. Heat the oil in a large pan and sauté the onion until translucent. Stir in the cream cheese, cream, and 200 ml water and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Simmer the sauce for 2-3 minutes. Add the salmon and dill to the sauce. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice, add the gnocchi, and heat briefly.
