Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 250 g spaetzle
- salt water
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 tbsp honey
- e.g. salt and pepper
- n. B. Thyme
- n. B. Paprika powder, sweet
- possibly herb cream cheese
- some Emmental cheese, grated
- Oil, for frying

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Prepare the spaetzle according to the package instructions. While the spaetzle is cooking, wash, deseed, and dice the bell peppers. Finely dice the onion. Empty the spaetzle into a sieve and rinse briefly with cold water. Fry the bell peppers and onions in a little oil in a pan, then add the spaetzle and mix well over medium heat. Add honey and season to taste. Stir in some herb cream cheese, if desired. Finally, sprinkle the grated Emmental cheese over the spaetzle and let it melt slightly.
