Garlic chicken from the tray

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken legs
  • 2 onions
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 750 g potatoes, small
  • 1 dash of lemon juice
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • Thyme to taste
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Rub the chicken thighs with a little oil, season with salt and pepper, and push the finely chopped garlic cloves under the skin. Place on a baking tray or the lid of a large roasting pan and place in a preheated oven (200°C, fan oven 180°C) for 15 minutes. Slice the onions and potatoes into wedges. Combine the oil, lemon juice, mustard, salt, pepper, and the torn thyme leaves, then mix with the potatoes and onions. Place the mixture around the chicken thighs and roast for another 30-35 minutes.
