Pan-fried vegetables

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 5 carrots
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • 3 bell peppers, colored
  • 2 zucchinis
  • Soy sauce, sweet
  • Herbs as desired
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder
  • Garlic granules

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cut the vegetables into pieces or slices. Put a pan on the heat with a little water. (Alternatively, herb butter works very well; it immediately adds more flavor.) Add the vegetables to the pan and pour over a little soy sauce. It’s best to experiment with how much soy sauce you like. Now add salt, pepper, chili, garlic, and herbs, cover, and simmer for about 10 minutes, until the vegetables are tender enough to bite. Add water halfway through if necessary. The vegetables are a great side dish, but they’re also delicious as a main course. I like to grill them in the summer; I put everything in a grill tray and stir them occasionally.
