Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can of tomatoes (pizza tomatoes, the chunky ones), 400 grams
  • 200 ml tomato ketchup (no additives)
  • 2 onions, peeled, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled, diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 dashes Tabasco
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

with potato pancakes or ciabatta

Brown the onions in oil. Add the tomatoes and garlic. Simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in the tomato ketchup. Season with Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce. Reduce until thickened (slightly pasty).
