Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 4 bags of rice
  • 2 packs of cheese, grated
  • 3 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pack of breadcrumbs
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Cook the rice in plenty of salted water according to the package instructions. Once cooked, transfer the rice directly to a bowl. Add the two packets of grated cheese and season with salt and pepper. Stir briefly and then add the three eggs. Knead everything together, preferably with your hands. Be careful, the rice is still hot. When everything is well kneaded, the rice should stick together nicely from the melted cheese. Form the mixture into dumplings and roll them first in beaten egg and then in breadcrumbs. Finally, fry the dumplings in the deep fryer until golden brown. These dumplings taste great with dishes with cream sauce.
