Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pizza dough, from the refrigerated section
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 100 g bacon, cut into strips
  • 3 jalapeños
  • 2 chilies, e.g. Thai bird’s eye chilies, cut into rings
  • 2 tbsp, heaped capers
  • 2 tsp oil (seasoning oil à la Don Carlos, in the database)
  • 1 tsp honey (oak honey)
  • e.g. butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Grease a roasting pan with butter and spread the batter on it. Pull up the edges slightly. Finely chop the bacon strips. Finely slice the onion and slice the chilies into rings. Spread the sour cream on the batter. Distribute all other ingredients evenly over the sour cream. Finally, drizzle with the seasoning oil and honey. Bake the tarte flambée in the oven for about 20 minutes. Tip: 15 minutes on the bottom rack will give it a crispy base, followed by 5 minutes on top to give it a nice browning.
