Ingredients
 

Batter

  • 175 g Butter
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 3 piece Eggs
  • 200 g Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 tbsp Unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 glass Sour cherries from the glass

Covering

  • 0,5 ltr. Whipped cream
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 500 g Quark
  • 2 packet Red cake glaze

Instructions
 

  • Make a light batter from the ingredients (without cherries) and place about half of them in a springform pan lined with baking paper. Mix the rest with the cocoa powder and pour on the light bottom and mix with a fork (marble cake). Drain the cherries and collect the juice. Spread the cherries on the dough. Bake in the preheated oven at 175 ° top / bottom heat for about 30 minutes. Then let it cool down for approx. 3-4 hours. Place the base on a cake plate and cover with a cake ring. Whip the cream until stiff and mix with the sugar, vanilla sugar and quark. Spread the cream and curd mixture on the base. Mix the cherry juice with the cake glaze, bring to the boil according to the instructions and pour it onto the cream and quark mixture while it is still hot, use a fork to make small spirals. Let the cake stand in the refrigerator for about 3-4 hours.
