Ingredients

  • 250 g Quark lean
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 3 drops Vanilla flavor
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 100 g Ground almonds
  • Milk
  • For rolling:
  • Melted butter
  • Sugar with vanilla pulp

Instructions

  • For the rabbits, the quark, oil, vanilla flavor and sugar are mixed together. If you want, you can also add an egg, but it doesn't have to be.
  • Mix the flour and baking powder and mix with the other ingredients. Finally knead in the almonds. The dough should be handy and no longer stick. If necessary, knead in a little more flour.
  • Now roll out the dough about a good 1/2 cm thick and cut out rabbits. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and brush with milk. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 "C (convection) for about 20 minutes until golden yellow.
  • Melt the butter and coat the still hot rabbits with it all around and roll in the vanilla sugar mixture. I wish you a good appetite and a happy Easter.
  • PS: When it's not Easter, I make little croissants out of this dough.
