Ingredients

Hazelnut paste

  • 6 tbsp Ground hazelnuts
  • 4 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp Water

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

Utilization of leftovers for unexpected guests

  • Mix the ingredients for the hazelnut paste well and spread over the puff pastry. Spread well.
  • Roll up the puff pastry with the paste and cut approx. 1-2 cm thick slices. Looks like snail shells.
  • Spread the rolls generously on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  • In the oven for 13 to 15 minutes (may take a little longer depending on the thickness of the rolls). Take out and place on plate, done.
  • The recipe arose out of necessity. Guests came unexpectedly, I had 30 minutes until they arrived and I wanted to be able to offer them something.
  • Of course, many other ingredients can be used. Depending on what is available.
  • En Guete wishes, Duchesse_Alex
