Sponge Cake Base basic Recipe (baked in Kettle)

Ingredients

for dough

  • 4 piece Eggs, size L
  • 120 g Sugar
  • 75 g Flour
  • 75 g Food starch
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions

Preparation step 1:

  • Beat egg yolks and sugar until frothy. Sifted in flour and starch. Add a pinch of salt to round it off.
  • Beat the egg whites until frothy and fold into the mixture.

Preparation step 2:

  • Line a cauldron with baking paper, put in the dough and then bake for about 20 minutes at 180 degrees with top / bottom heat. To be on the safe side, test with a fork before taking it out whether it is ready. That's it. Now have fun with further processing.
