Thoroughly wash the Kasseler, pat dry with the water in a roasting pan and cover and cook for 45 minutes in the preheated oven at 200c.
Take the meat out of the roaster and keep it warm.
Now add the beef broth to the liquid in the roaster and cook for about 5 minutes
Whisk the cornstarch with the beer, add to the sauce, bring to the boil and then stir in the cream cheese.
Add the plums and apricots to the sauce and heat briefly. Season with salt and pepper if necessary.
Cut the kasseler into slices, add to the sauce and let it warm up.
Arrange the meat with the sauce on a plate and enjoy with bread dumplings and red cabbage.
