Baking: Iron Power Bars

Ingredients

  • 100 g Whole wheat flour
  • 50 g Oatmeal
  • 3 tbsp Sunflower seeds
  • 2 tbsp Linseed
  • 1 tbsp Wheat bran
  • 1 pinch Ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Orange peel
  • 70 g Beet syrup
  • 40 g Butter
  • 50 ml Water
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients (except for the sesame seeds) into a dough.
  • Spread this on a greased, small baking sheet (26x16cm). Smooth out with a spoon dipped in water.
  • Scatter sesame seeds on top.
  • Carefully cut into 12 pieces.
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for about 15-18 minutes.
