Squeeze the 10 oranges and half a lemon and place in a saucepan.
Mix with the pulp of half the vanilla pod and the sugar and bring to a boil. Let simmer for about 20-30 minutes at medium temperature until a syrup is formed .... it depends on the stove sometimes faster sometimes slower.
If you don't like the black dots in the syrup, you can also use 1-2 pkg of vanilla sugar, depending on your taste.
The amount of syrup is approx. 400 - 500 ml depending on the amount of juice in the oranges.
Place a hot-rinsed bottle on a wet cloth that will not burst and fill with the syrup.
