Walnut Beer Bread

Ingredients

  • 200 ml Warm water
  • 150 ml Light beer
  • 85 g Chopped walnuts
  • 400 g Spelt flour
  • 100 g Whole wheat flour
  • 2 tsp Brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 Pck. Dry yeast
  • Some flour to knead

Instructions

  • Dissolve salt and sugar in warm water! Add beer and knead with flour. Finally add the yeast and nuts. Knead everything well, cover and let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes!

I take the bread maker to knead!

  • Knead again, shape into a ball and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Let rise again covered for 30 minutes!

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees!

  • Bake the bread for about 40-45 minutes! The bread is done when you knock on the bottom of the bread and it sounds hollow! :-)
