Cherry Jelly with Vanilla

Ingredients

  • 750 ml Cherry juice
  • 0,5 tsp Ground vanilla
  • 500 g Preserving sugar 2: 1

Instructions

  • I first washed the cherries ... sorted out the bad ones and put the rest in the juicer and collected the juice ... then measured 750 ml of it.
  • Mix the juice with the vanilla and the preserving sugar in a large saucepan.
  • Bring to the boil while stirring and let simmer for 3 minutes.
  • Immediately fill jars with twist-off lids, close and place on the lid for 5 minutes.
