Wash and clean the strawberries.
Have clean twist-off glasses ready.
Then puree the strawberries. (This step is not strictly necessary, but we prefer the jam with fewer pieces.)
Put the strawberries in a saucepan and mix the preserving sugar with the mixture. Bring everything to the boil while stirring over high heat.
Let the mixture boil for at least 3 minutes while stirring constantly!
Then add the syrup to the mixture and let it boil again briefly.
Possibly do a gel test. Pour the mixture into the jars and close immediately and turn the jars upside down for about 5 minutes.
Your delicious jam is already ready :-)
PS: I used 7 screw-top jars a 230ml.
