Ingredients
- 1 kg Fresh strawberries
- 100 ml Elderflower syrup
- 1 packet Dr. Oetker preserving sugar for strawberry jam
Instructions
- Wash and clean the strawberries.
- Have clean twist-off glasses ready.
- Then puree the strawberries. (This step is not strictly necessary, but we prefer the jam with fewer pieces.)
- Put the strawberries in a saucepan and mix the preserving sugar with the mixture. Bring everything to the boil while stirring over high heat.
- Let the mixture boil for at least 3 minutes while stirring constantly!
- Then add the syrup to the mixture and let it boil again briefly.
- Possibly do a gel test. Pour the mixture into the jars and close immediately and turn the jars upside down for about 5 minutes.
- Your delicious jam is already ready 🙂
- PS: I used 7 screw-top jars a 230ml.
