Ingredients

  • 1 kg Fresh strawberries
  • 100 ml Elderflower syrup
  • 1 packet Dr. Oetker preserving sugar for strawberry jam

Instructions

  • Wash and clean the strawberries.
  • Have clean twist-off glasses ready.
  • Then puree the strawberries. (This step is not strictly necessary, but we prefer the jam with fewer pieces.)
  • Put the strawberries in a saucepan and mix the preserving sugar with the mixture. Bring everything to the boil while stirring over high heat.
  • Let the mixture boil for at least 3 minutes while stirring constantly!
  • Then add the syrup to the mixture and let it boil again briefly.
  • Possibly do a gel test. Pour the mixture into the jars and close immediately and turn the jars upside down for about 5 minutes.
  • Your delicious jam is already ready 🙂
  • PS: I used 7 screw-top jars a 230ml.
