Sweet Meal: Rice Pudding with Cinnamon & Sugar and Brown Butter
Servings: 2 people
- 2 cups Rice pudding
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 cup Water
- 4 tbsp Coconut blossom syrup for sweetening
- 0,75 L Milk
- 30 g Butter
- 1 glass Peach and apple jam
- Cinnamon & sugar for sprinkling
Put the rice pudding in the water with a pinch of salt and bring to the boil. &
From now on, add the milk in sips while stirring constantly, bring to the boil again and always stir nicely :-) when the rice becomes thicker again, add another sip of milk ... and play this game until the rice is soft. Add the coconut blossom syrup to sweeten it.
Let the butter soften in a pan and foam it up.
There was also a glass of homemade peach and apple jam (which unfortunately turned out to be a bit too thin for me last year, but is just right for it ;-)
