Sweet Meal: Rice Pudding with Cinnamon & Sugar and Brown Butter

Servings: 2 people

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rice pudding
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 cup Water
  • 4 tbsp Coconut blossom syrup for sweetening
  • 0,75 L Milk
  • 30 g Butter
  • 1 glass Peach and apple jam
  • Cinnamon & sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

  • Put the rice pudding in the water with a pinch of salt and bring to the boil. &
  • From now on, add the milk in sips while stirring constantly, bring to the boil again and always stir nicely :-) when the rice becomes thicker again, add another sip of milk ... and play this game until the rice is soft. Add the coconut blossom syrup to sweeten it.
  • Let the butter soften in a pan and foam it up.
  • There was also a glass of homemade peach and apple jam (which unfortunately turned out to be a bit too thin for me last year, but is just right for it ;-)
  • For sprinkling cinnamon & sugar
