Sweet Meal: Rice Pudding with Cinnamon & Sugar and Brown Butter
The perfect sweet meal: rice pudding with cinnamon & sugar and brown butter recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 cups Rice pudding
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Cup Water
- 4 tbsp Coconut blossom syrup for sweetening
- 0,75 liter Milk
- 30 g Butter
- 1 Glass Peach and apple jam
- Cinnamon & sugar for sprinkling
- Put the rice pudding in the water with a pinch of salt and bring to the boil. &
- From now on, add the milk in sips while stirring constantly, bring to the boil again and always stir nicely 🙂 when the rice becomes thicker again, add another sip of milk … and play this game until the rice is soft. Add the coconut blossom syrup to sweeten it.
- Let the butter soften in a pan and foam it up.
- There was also a glass of homemade peach and apple jam (which unfortunately turned out to be a bit too thin for me last year, but is just right for it 😉
- For sprinkling cinnamon & sugar
