Sweet Meal: Rice Pudding with Cinnamon & Sugar and Brown Butter

The perfect sweet meal: rice pudding with cinnamon & sugar and brown butter recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 cups Rice pudding
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 4 tbsp Coconut blossom syrup for sweetening
  • 0,75 liter Milk
  • 30 g Butter
  • 1 Glass Peach and apple jam
  • Cinnamon & sugar for sprinkling
  1. Put the rice pudding in the water with a pinch of salt and bring to the boil. &
  2. From now on, add the milk in sips while stirring constantly, bring to the boil again and always stir nicely 🙂 when the rice becomes thicker again, add another sip of milk … and play this game until the rice is soft. Add the coconut blossom syrup to sweeten it.
  3. Let the butter soften in a pan and foam it up.
  4. There was also a glass of homemade peach and apple jam (which unfortunately turned out to be a bit too thin for me last year, but is just right for it 😉
  5. For sprinkling cinnamon & sugar
