Strawberry Jam with Elderflower

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Strawberries
  • 1 kg Preserving sugar
  • 1 Lemon fresh
  • 4 Elderflower umbels

Instructions

  • Wash the strawberries, pluck the elderflower, puree the strawberries, squeeze the lemon and add the juice, then add the preserving sugar and place in a sufficiently large saucepan and let it steep a little. Let simmer while stirring according to the instructions on the packet. Skim, carefully stir in the plucked elderflower, fill into prepared jars and close
