Fried Banana with Vanilla Ice Cream and Honey

Servings: 4 people

Ingredients

  • 4 Bananas
  • 100 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 60 ml Cold water
  • Oil for the pan,
  • Vanilla ice cream, honey and sesame seeds to sprinkle
  • Coconut

Instructions

  • Peel the banana and cut into pieces.
  • Mix the remaining ingredients into a tough dough and let it soak for 10 minutes.
  • Let the oil get hot in a pan. Pull the bananas through the dough with a fork, drain and add to the oil to fry. Weigh it once so that it turns brown on both sides. Drain on a paper towel.
  • Place the bananas on a plate along with a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream. Sprinkle honey over ice cream and bananas and sprinkle with grated sesame or coconut.
