Bread with Toasted Sunflower Seeds
Servings: 4 people
- 100 g Roasted sunflower seeds
- 400 g Flour 405
- 150 g Flour 1050
- 2 tsp Salt
- 3 tbsp Garlic oil
- 2 tsp Dry malt coffee - Caro
- 300 ml Lukewarm water
- 0,5 cube Yeast
- 1 tsp Sugar
Roast the sunflower seeds fat-free in a coated pan and let them cool.
Put all the ingredients in a bowl. Dissolve the yeast with the sugar in the lukewarm water and add to the other ingredients and knead vigorously.
Let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes. Then knead again and place in a proofing basket or shape into a loaf of bread. Now let go for another 90 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 170 °. Put the bread in the oven. Bake for 45 minutes.
If you want, you can coat the bread with coffee or malt halfway through the cooking time, this gives it a shine and a beautiful color
