Flatbread with Garlic
Servings: 1 people
- 500 g Flour
- 1 cube Yeast fresh
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 300 ml Lukewarm water
- For painting:
- 1 tbsp Gyros spice
- 0,5 tbsp Dried oregano
- 80 ml Oil
- 2 Chinese garlic
- Parchment paper
Dissolve the yeast in the water and the tablespoon of oil. Mix the flour, salt and sugar. Slowly add the yeast-oil mixture and knead a smooth dough with your hands. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
In the meantime, finely chop the garlic and mix with the oil, spice and oregano. Put aside.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out the dough to the size of a baking sheet on a lightly milled surface and place on top. Brush with the garlic oil. Bake in the hot oven for 20-30 minutes. If the garlic gets too dark, cover with aluminum foil. Take out and let cool down.
