Flatbread with Garlic
The perfect flatbread with garlic recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Flour
- 1 dice Yeast fresh
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 300 ml Lukewarm water
- For painting:
- 1 tbsp Gyros spice
- 0,5 tbsp Dried oregano
- 80 ml Oil
- 2 piece Chinese garlic
- Parchment paper
- Dissolve the yeast in the water and the tablespoon of oil. Mix the flour, salt and sugar. Slowly add the yeast-oil mixture and knead a smooth dough with your hands. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- In the meantime, finely chop the garlic and mix with the oil, spice and oregano. Put aside.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out the dough to the size of a baking sheet on a lightly milled surface and place on top. Brush with the garlic oil. Bake in the hot oven for 20-30 minutes. If the garlic gets too dark, cover with aluminum foil. Take out and let cool down.
