Quarter the pears, remove the casing and cut into thin wedges. Heat butter (2 tbsp) in a pan, fry the pear wedges in it for 5 - 6 minutes, dust with powdered sugar and let everything caramelize for approx. 3 - 4 minutes. Add the Gorgonzola (150 g) cut into small pieces and allow to melt. Serve caramelized pear wedges with Gorgonzola. A strong red wine and baguette go well with it.
