Caramelized Pear Wedges with Gorgonzola
The perfect caramelized pear wedges with gorgonzola recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 piece Pears
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tsp Powdered sugar
- 150 g Gorgonzola
- 2 powerful splashes Lemon juice
- Baguette
- Red wine
- Quarter the pears, remove the casing and cut into thin wedges. Heat butter (2 tbsp) in a pan, fry the pear wedges in it for 5 – 6 minutes, dust with powdered sugar and let everything caramelize for approx. 3 – 4 minutes. Add the Gorgonzola (150 g) cut into small pieces and allow to melt. Serve caramelized pear wedges with Gorgonzola. A strong red wine and baguette go well with it.
