Spread, Sweet: Plum Jam with Cinnamon

Ingredients

fruit

  • 350 g Fresh plum

seasoning

  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon

Gelling agent

  • 100 g Preserving sugar 3: 1

Instructions

Fruit + spice + gelling agent

  • Wash in between, remove the pit, weigh 300 grams of pulp and quarter ... in a saucepan with cinnamon and preserving sugar, thicken the juice for approx. 4-6 hours and let it steep

Manufacture

  • Bring the fruit and spice mixture to the boil and let it boil for about 4 minutes ... fill into glasses rinsed with hot water, screw on, let cool upside down and let gel gel again on the bottom

Storage + shelf life

  • Plum jam with cinnamon can be kept for several months in the cellar with constant air humidity and temperature or in the pantry

  • On bread rolls for breakfast ... Pie and cake ingredients or sweeteners can be used in desserts or sauces
