Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 150 g flour
- 100 g butter or margarine
- 50 g sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp water
- 48 pieces of confectionery (Toffifee)
- 2 egg whites
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 160 g sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
Toffifee cookies, for 48 pieces
Knead flour, butter, egg yolks, water, salt, and 50g sugar into a dough. Let it rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Then roll out and cut out 48 circles. Place a Toffifee in the center of each. Beat egg whites and lemon juice until stiff peaks form, slowly adding the sugar. Pipe the beaten egg whites onto the circles until the Toffifee are completely covered. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 15-20 minutes.
