Nougat cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 150 g hazelnuts, ground
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 200 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 200 g nougat or, better yet, Nutella
  • Chocolate coating, dark or whole milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

Makes about 60 cookies

Sift the flour and baking powder onto a baking sheet and make a well in the center. Place the sugar, vanilla sugar, ground hazelnuts, and small pieces of butter around the edge. Crack the egg into the well, knead quickly, and then refrigerate. Roll out the dough and cut out circles. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes at 175 degrees C (top/bottom heat). Melt the nougat mixture. This is not necessary if using Nutella. Spread the underside of half of the cooled circles with the nougat mixture or Nutella, then place the other underside on top. Dip half of the circles into the melted chocolate coating.
