Spread the love

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 2 stalk(s) leeks
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste, 3-fold concentrated
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 300 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 can/n tomatoes, medium-sized (pizza)
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 200 g cream cheese spread
  • 1 tsp spice mix (minced meat seasoning)
  • 1 pinch(s) sweet paprika powder
  • pepper
  • cumin
  • marjoram
  • Thyme
  • chili powder
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 100 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel and finely dice the onion, peel and finely chop the garlic. Trim the leek and slice it into thin rings. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the diced onion until translucent. Then add the minced meat and fry well, then add the diced garlic. Stir in 2 tablespoons of tomato paste and lightly fry. Then add the leek and sauté for a while, stirring occasionally to prevent it from burning. Pour in the canned tomatoes, then add the vegetable stock and the processed cheese to the mixture. Season well and be sure to taste, adjusting if necessary. You can also use typical Turkish or Italian spices here if you like those flavors! Let the sauce simmer for 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the side dishes – pasta or rice goes perfectly with the sauce. Towards the end of the cooking time, whisk the water with the flour to thicken the sauce. This is a matter of taste and not absolutely necessary!
