Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 320 g farfalle (or fusili, penne or similar)
- 250 g Brussels sprouts
- 2 large garlic cloves
- 60 g bacon
- 3 tsp mustard
- 100 ml whipped cream
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- salt and pepper
- Butter for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Prepare the farfalle according to the package instructions. Finely dice the onion, garlic, and bacon. Trim and quarter the Brussels sprouts, then roast them in butter for 5 minutes. Add the onion, garlic, and bacon and fry briefly with the Brussels sprouts. Then pour in the whipped cream and simmer briefly, adding a little of the pasta cooking water if necessary. Add the mustard and stir in, then simmer until a creamy sauce forms. Drain the pasta, toss with the sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Serve best with a fresh salad.
