Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 200 g bacon (belly bacon)
- 1 large onion(s)
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp beet syrup
- salt and pepper
- Vinegar
- n. B. water
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
a great sauce for fish
Finely dice the bacon and onion. Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy, then add the diced onion and fry briefly. Now add the flour and stir everything into a lump, then deglaze with enough water until the desired consistency is reached. Finally, add the beetroot syrup and season with pepper, salt, and vinegar. This sweet and sour sauce goes great with fish!
