Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 150 g flour, wheat flour
- 125 g butter
- 250 g cheese, grated Emmental
- 1 tsp salt
- some paprika powder
- 300 g olives, with pepper filling
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Knead the flour, butter, cheese, and spices into a smooth dough and chill for about half an hour. Shape the dough into logs (5cm in diameter), cut into 1cm-thick slices, and place an olive on each slice. Wrap the dough around the log and roll into a ball between your palms. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake for about 20 minutes at 220°C (top/bottom heat). Delicious hot or cold. Perfect for a finger food buffet. Makes about 40 pieces.
