Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g butter, melted
  • 125 ml milk
  • 250 g spelt flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp herbs, dried or fresh, finely chopped
  • Sesame seeds, etc. for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Mix butter, milk, flour, salt, and herbs into a smooth dough, then let it rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 180°C. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 2 mm, cut out any shapes you like, and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush with water and sprinkle with sesame seeds, caraway seeds, poppy seeds, etc., as desired. Bake for about 10 minutes and serve once cooled.
