Ham and cheese croissants made from puff pastry

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 3 packs of puff pastry
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 250 g cheese
  • Maggi
  • Pizza seasoning or herbs, Italian
  • 2 packs of turkey ham

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Finely chop the onions and ham and place them in a bowl. Add the cheese and one egg yolk, and season with Maggi and the herbs. Cut the puff pastry into squares. Place some of the filling on each square and form a croissant. Place all the croissants on a baking sheet and brush with the second egg yolk. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven) until golden brown. This takes about 15 minutes.
