Plum Compote …
The perfect plum compote … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 700 g Fresh plums
- 50 g Extra fine sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 4 cl Orange liqueur
- 1 Tablespoon vanilla Pudding powder z. Cook
- Wash the plums, cut in half, stone and quarter lengthways. Mix the custard powder with the orange liqueur in a cup until smooth.
- Caramelize the sugar in a saucepan (brown lightly – but not too dark), add the fruit with a pinch of salt and simmer everything over a mild heat for about 6 minutes. Now pour in the mixed pudding powder, bring to the boil while stirring and cook gently for another 2 minutes.
- When cooled, this compote tastes good with ice cream, with pudding, with potato pancakes or waffles and, and, and … but is also a delicious dessert on its own. Good Appetite!
