Bratwurst with cream cheese and ajvar potatoes

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 sausages (poultry sausages)
  • Sunflower oil
  • 500 g potatoes, peeled and weighed
  • 50 g herb cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp Ajvar, hot
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 400 g vegetable broth, preferably homemade
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 17 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 18 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Quarter the potatoes lengthwise and slice them. Place them in a pot with the vegetable stock, ajvar, cream cheese, and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Cook uncovered over high heat for 8-10 minutes, reducing the liquid slightly. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan and fry the sausages until they are the desired color. Serve the sausages and potatoes together.
