Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 celeriac
  • 1 liter of oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Snacks as a small appetite stimulant

Peel the celery and cut it into 3mm thick slices. I always use a food processor for this. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the celery slices one at a time until they turn brown. Drain the slices on a paper towel and let them cool. We like to serve it with a bit of aioli. The flavor isn’t even reminiscent of celery, and I like to use this recipe to use up leftovers from large celery bulbs.
