Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 rolls or brioche, stale, approx. 200 g
- 200 ml milk
- 100 g butter
- 50 g sugar
- 50 g marzipan
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 eggs
- 150 g blueberries
- 50 g almonds, sliced
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- Butter for the mold
- Breadcrumbs for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Cut the stale rolls/brioche into small pieces and soak them in the warm milk for about 10 minutes. Then mix the mixture with the egg yolk, warm butter, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Finely shave the marzipan and fold it in with the blueberries. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold it into the mixture. Butter the baking dish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Pour in the mixture and sprinkle with the almonds. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes. Once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with vanilla sauce or cream.
