Preheat the oven (180°C). Cook the pasta in salted water according to the instructions. Finely chop the onion, ham, and tomatoes. Drain the can of chanterelle mushrooms. Melt some butter in a pan and sauté the onions, ham, and chanterelle mushrooms. Mix the eggs, salt, pepper, milk, cream, and finely chopped cheese. Drain the pasta and place in a large casserole dish. Spread the chanterelle, onion, and ham mixture over the pasta and top with finely chopped tomatoes. Pour the cream and cheese mixture over the mixture. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes at 180°C (fan oven). If the cheese gets too brown, simply cover with aluminum foil. A thick tomato sauce or simple tomato ketchup goes well with this dish. It’s also ideal as a party or birthday dish. Easy to prepare, even in large quantities.
