Pasta bake with minced meat – good for spontaneous leftovers
Sauté chopped onions in a little oil, butter, or margarine. Add the minced meat and brown. Add the passata and pasta sauce and simmer for about 15 minutes. Stir frequently to prevent sticking. In the meantime, bring the pasta water to a boil and preheat the oven to 175°C (conventional heat: 150°C). After about 15 minutes, add the pasta to the pasta water. Mix the drained contents of the cans (peas, mushrooms, corn) into the minced meat sauce and continue simmering until the pasta is done (takes about 10 minutes). Mix the drained pasta and sauce together and pour into a casserole dish or ovenproof pot. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake in the preheated oven for 30-45 minutes. Tip: This recipe is easy to prepare and can be extended as needed. Ideal for parties or large gatherings of hungry colleagues.
